Need: Increase connectedness between members and the club. Promote upcoming club events and tournaments, announce tournament winners, sign-up deadlines, and schedule of pool hours, and advise members of golf course, pool, and tennis closings and delays.
Club General Managers or Pro Shop Managers can use the Country Club Widget to immediately advise of closings in facilities or delays in course play. The Country Club Widget can also be used to promote tournament and club participation, immediately announce tournament winners, advertise sales in the pro shop and restaurant specials.
By using the Country Club Widget, clubs can significantly reduce the monthly newsletter printing and mailing costs, as much of the information contained in the mailings (tournament results, for example) will already have been communicated through the widget.
Current and potential members benefit as they feel more connected to “their” club, because the club is constantly providing the information that members want to know, rather than requiring members to call the club.
