Salvation Army providing long-term assistance

The Salvation Army is part of a long-term recovery effort that is conducting in-depth assessments, long-term case management and financial assistance to flood-affected households throughout the region.

The Salvation Army is conducting case management and voucher distribution for Lincoln County residents from its service extension unit in Troy, Mo. The Salvation Army has provided counseling, vouchers for gasoline, prescriptions, food, clothing, minor car repairs and much more. It has also received a number of requests for rent and utility assistance. Bulk goods, such as flood cleanup kits, are now being distributed from the Winfield Foley Fire Station #3.
